Alex Hernandez serves as a Managing Partner at CSA providing carbon management and sustainability services to U.S.
Federal, State, and Local governmental entities. Mr. Hernandez has performed environmental services for federal
agencies such as the U.S. Department of Energy - National Renewable Energy Lab, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and
the U.S. Department of Agriculture - Natural Resources Conservation Services. Mr. Hernandez has also advised a wide
ranging list of commercial clients on their carbon footprints and has extensive experience in the commercialization of
emission credits from landfill gas, forestry, and energy efficiency projects. He previously held posts at both Blanchard &
Company and Citigroup. At Citigroup, Mr. Hernandez worked in alternative investments where he managed hedge funds,
private equity, real estate, and structured products sold in the U.S. and Latin America. Mr. Hernandez was also a Captain
in the U.S. Marine Corps specializing in logistics operations, where has also served collateral duties as a Nuclear,
Biological, Chemical Warfare Officer.
Mr. Hernandez holds a BA Cum Laude, and an MBA in Management and Finance from Tulane University. |

Nick Loeb serves as a Managing Partner at CSA providing climate change engineering and advisory services to corporate and government clients. Previously he was a banker for Lehman Brothers, Inc. and President of Loeb Investments, a private investment company. While at Lehman he was invited to speak at Tulane University to the MBA's on the highs and lows of private banking. At Loeb Investments he partnered with HGC Capital, an environmental remediation firm to create emission credits though methane capture of landfills in alignment with the UN's Clean Development Mechanism. Nick has spoken as a faculty member at the Practising Law Institute on the topic of "Establishing and Enforcing Corporate Green Technology Policies," in Sonoma County California at the Green Wine Conference on "Carbon Neutrality", and at the South Florida Green, Energy and Climate Conference on "How to Market your Business as Green". Mr. Loeb specializes in helping companies and municipalities develop corporate sustainability strategies to take advantage of the potential revenue streams generated by commercializing their reductions, known as emission credits. He was a member of the Palm Beach County Green Task Force's governmental sub-committee, and also serves on the following boards: the School Choice Fund, Broward County Crime Commission and formerly the Florida Co-Chair for Rudy Giuliani's Presidential Campaign. In 2009, The South Florida Business Journal recognized Mr. Loeb as one of the top 40 business and community leaders under 40.

Mr. Brewer is an Technical Director at CSA. In this capacity he functions as a technical analyst for three major areas; carbon footprinting, carbon credit management, and, sustainability consulting. Mr. Brewer has in-depth knowledge of common carbon footprinting methodologies as well as algorithm development techniques. Mr. Brewer is also accomplished in energy efficiency strategies and reduction measures. At CSA, he develops internal strategies for various carbon credit projects, ranging from landfills and wastewater treatment to forestry and wetlands. Specializing in tool development, Mr. Brewer created numerous tools for assessing carbon credit projects as well as carbon footprinting, energy efficiency, and general financial indicators such as the Blended ROI (BROI) tool for comparing dissimilar projects on an even financial footing.
